A beautiful princess with a head of nigh-endless enchanted golden hair, Rapunzel was locked in a tower by Mallory, who was envious of her beauty. Many brave knights sought her out, though their hearts and minds were corrupted by Mallory as they approached — the first who reached her tower lost himself and attacked her. She slew him in self-defense, and thus began a long spiral of despair as more wayward knights met their deaths at her hands. Now her mind is lost, and she kills any who approach her tower, proclaiming it her sole sanctuary. Crafted for the “The Tales Grimm” campaign, this miniature captures a fairy tale twisted into tragedy.
